Papers of Maria Ward Skelton Williams Williams [manuscript], 1897-1966 (bulk 1897-1929).

The collection consists of the commonplace book of Maria Williams containing Bible verses; and two scrapbooks containing correspondence, family photographs, poetry, and topical clippings. A 1903 letter mentions people and places at the University of Virginia. The collection also contains the private journal and ministry records, 1897-1923, of E. L. Goodwin in which he recorded daily activities, pastoral visits, baptisms, confirmations, marriages, and burials, for Episcopal pastorates in Fairfax, Richmond, Ashland and other Virginia localities. In addition there are index cards containing bibliographical notes chiefly pertaining to colonial Virginia history.
